@cea_forster Rum rather than wine (husband was in Barbados a couple of weeks ago and had to repay in top quality rum). I’m feeling better by the sip 😀

Still recovering from a day out with 58 children at the British Museum (which was amazing) but could have done without the travel sickness, fainting, weeing in a cup (none of which were me) and the 2 and a half hour journey back which should have been an hour and 5! 😩

Seriously wtf? Completely unfathomable.

@Safcaliz We started A Christmas Carol in Y6 today. 4th year we’ve done it, mostly so we can watch A Muppets Christmas Carol when we finish the book 😀

Did you know that A Muppet Christmas Carol contains more lines from Dicken’s original than most other versions? And this alone is why it is by far the best version and a legitimate reason for me watching it with my year 10 class this year.

It’s finally half term! I’m sure I say this far too often but that was ridiculously long. The kids are off on a night hike with the Scouts so heading for a well deserved pint or 2 at the local. Cheers all 🍺

And so they go to bed. I have a final day at work, at the end of the longest term ever, and then I drive 2 hours into north Wales for the first night of the break to be with Jeff and Elaine. I must be fucking mental.

The three year old is refusing to listen to us and has told her sisters she has done all her good listening in nursery and she doesn't have any good listening left.

A social worker asked my teen foster child today if she was still happy living with me? She gave it some thought and replied, “I like it here. She doesn’t take any of my shit. And she’s there when I fuck up.” *There‘s still work to do with the language!😂😂 #YoureBeingRidiculous
