@NortonMpls We opposed the routing through Whittier and the Council decided to agree. Prob bad decision but made sense at the time. We’d very likely have an operational green line years ago

It’s still insane that we spent so much money to dig this light rail tunnel between the Minneapolis chain of lakes rather than run the train through Uptown and the most densely populated area in the state. (Pink line is where this track is, dark red is where all the people live)

@daviss Interesting they call it blight, looks more like a dead mall to me. Local retail and the cheffie restaurant scene died across the Twin Cities long ago. North Loop is prob the last place to find that vibe thanks to an abundance of new apartments and high brow transients.
