@npepper101 @thechewatson You mean Levy and Lange gave Ange Bergvall and Odobert when he asked for Semenyo etc ie proven talent. Another manager set up to fail.

@eganmk @thechewatson Ange spent £400m WAY more than what Poch ever spent and his record speaks for itself in terms of finals reached and league finishes. He was let down by the board way more than Ange was imo. But yes we can say the board didn't help both managers either.

Every time I hear from this bloke there seems to be a complete lack of acknowledgement that he started this league form decline. We'd had 16 seasons before that where our lowest league position was 8th.

🚨🎙️Ange Postecoglou when asked how he feels about #Tottenham’s ongoing struggles: "Not great, I still have a really strong attachment to the club. ‌ It was two years and they were by no means easy years, but we invested a lot into them. Second last game we won a European trophy which was an incredible high. The connection there will be there forever. To watch them struggle has not been easy and it’s not the way I thought it would go. They’re in a hell of a fight, relegation is massive for any club but for Tottenham, it’s a pretty big deal. ‌ They have some fighting to do and they have the quality to get out. They need a circuit-breaker for sure." @RyanTaylorSport

@npepper101 @thechewatson He also blew the title. Or was it the players? Guess it’s just obvious to me Ange wasn’t the biggest problem since Poch left.

@eganmk @thechewatson And it's that attitude which is why we are where we are. Poch made us fight for every league position and even his left overs allowed us to finish no lower than 8th! Fobbing off the league has given players even more of an excuse to lower the standards for the team.

@npepper101 @thechewatson There’s almost zero difference finishing 12th to finishing 17th really. What’s the advantage of 5 places? This season has shown the erosion of standards predated him and continued after. Of course there were issues with his tactics. The slide had more to do with the players

@eganmk @thechewatson You're likely to face more PL opposition than lower league European opposition that's for sure! Man City and Liverpool are the only teams to win in recent years. Also Crystal Palace won the FA Cup with a lot less resources and finished 12th!

@npepper101 @thechewatson All the top 6 managers won nothing. Ange saw there was a choice because of the limitations in the squad and injury situation. To be clear you’re comparing the Carabao cup to the Europa League?

@thechewatson Ramos had no Kane and Son, won something and finished 11th. Redknapp, Sherwood, Villas-Boas all got top 6 without Kane.

@tkyles39 What’s the likelihood of a non-AJ Brown trade for a WR or Edge before the draft?

@SpursArmyTweets People continue to be dumb - Ange made a choice, and saw that with quality and injuries we simply could not win on both fronts, so he made a choice. Hence the poor league form. I’d trade 17th for a trophy any day of the week.

If you asked me to name ONE PERSON who I can safely guarantee will keep #thfc up… Ange Postecoglou. 🇦🇺 Our league form under him was vile last season. BUT - he’ll galvanise this squad, he’ll motivate them. They’ll run through brick walls for him.

The latest @BuckyBrooks Mock Draft. The book on Faulk: Very good against the run. Really young (turns 21 YO in September). Great for culture. BUT, not much pass rush production or "juice" on the edge. I'd want someone with more explosiveness from the outside.

It has been an honor and a privilege to serve as the 8th Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security. I want to thank President Trump for entrusting me to lead the department leading the fight to Make America Safe Again. In one year, the patriots at DHS delivered the MOST secure border in American history, 3 million illegal aliens have left the U.S., located 145,000 unaccompanied children, delivered disaster relief at a 100% faster rate, ushered in the golden age of travel, saved the American taxpayer $13 billion, and revitalized the U.S. Coast Guard. As Special Envoy for the Shield of the Americas, I will build on the years of national security expertise I forged during my time as Secretary of Homeland Security, Governor of South Dakota, and Congresswoman on the House Armed Services Committee.

Considering the limited amount of suitors, I believe the #Patriots end up acquiring AJ Brown post June-1 from the #Eagles for a 2027 3rd and a 2028 3rd plus WR Demario Douglas. A solid deal for both parties.

@TheJoeyMcNeely You have no leverage in this trade. The eagles don’t need to trade him for any reason outside of the manufactured bullshit from rousinni all year. Your team needs a wr the eagles hold all the cards.
