@StellaNoxEclair Yeah, I felt sorta empty once it finished. Narratively it's just so dull. The only way remaking this chunk of the game would work is if they added a lot of new stuff, but they were too afraid of alienating fans. Maybe in the grand scheme of the trilogy it'll be better.

it's very funny that every casual gamer I know just straight up does not believe games need to look better than the ps4. they cannot tell the difference anymore. graphical fidelity just doesn't matter like that

action and horror games should be like 6-12 hours long. rpgs 20-30. I don't think I've ever played an rpg longer than 30 hours that needed to be longer than 30 hours.

The Boys - 7/10 grouping all the seasons together because it's a pretty consistent show. it's good. some weak sub plots here and there, especially with the deep, but the characters are a lot of fun and the (very on the nose) social commentary is good too. homelander is great

a lot of people have a pretty bad habit of overthinking Nolan movies. this is a super straightforward story and anything confusing is just straight up explained to you in plain words. not sure why everyone acted like you needed to watch this twenty times to understand it!

Tenet - 9/10 not a big Nolan fan so I skipped this but oh my god??? it's so fucking good??? might actually be his best movie, super underappreciated imo. basically a bond movie with a really fun gimmick. the way the second half comes together is a blast.

when I re-fought nelo and discovered a fully charged ifrit punch can break his block it totally changed how I approached the fight. that did not happen a single time in ff16, and I re fought bosses WAY MORE than I did in dmc!

I feel like people focus a lot on dmc3's combo depth but kinda forget about the fundamentals it relies on to make that work. like good enemy and boss design and stuff. your movesets only like half the combat system, a lot more goes into it than that

playing dmc and ff16 right next to each other really highlights the importance of pacing and variety in an action game. giving me a diverse moveset doesn't matter when the moves aren't meaningful tools I use to overcome challenges and all the challenges are the exact same
