West Devon Cricket Congrats to our U13 cricketers on their improvement through the day to make the 3rd place play-offs against some very experienced club players. For most it was their first visit to a proper cricket club, but not the last! Thank you to Cornwood CC - great day!

Plymouth Super-Start Champions! 16 Yr7 athletes ran, jumped and threw to claim 1st in the PSSP Super8 Champs 🥇 Standout event winners were Logan G in Javelin, Isis M and Isaac HE in HJ, Max HC in LJ, Eve M in hurdles and Trey D in 100m. Brilliant too was their team spirit! 🙌

Yr7 Girls Cricket Well done to our cricketers in their matches at Plymstock. A nervy start with quick wickets led to an initial loss against DHSG. But then next match an excellent partnership of 26 between Isis and Eve plus neater bowling helped victory v Stoke. Go girls!

Tamar Cup Golf Long hitting, precision approach play and gentle green work helped our Devon Youth golfer Nathan K (Yr10) card 2 under par and help Yelverton through to the next round. Great golf from the white competition tees! ⛳️

Devon Schools Athletics Congratulations to Isaac L (Yr10) for his silver medal 🥈 in the 1500m in 4:25 to (hopefully) gain selection for Devon at the SW Schools Champs. Also speedy running from Trey D (Yr7) who set a 100m PB of 13.91s to place 4th in Devon. 🤩 Fantastic boys! 🙌

Plymouth Schools FA U14 - SW Champs! Capping an unbeaten league season, including the Broad Shield Cup, Plymouth Schools FA have now claimed the SW Cup with Yr9 Cayleb L-S again shining to get Player of the Match. Well done to all players and coaches plus every parent supporter.

Cricket update 🏏 With U13 and U15 mixed plus a new U13 girls team, our players range from brand new to experienced club, with more players starting each week. We rotate so all players get involved so results are mixed but we progress each week in the PSSP and W Devon comps.

West Devon Athletics Well done to our Yr7-10 athletes for their team spirit and performances at the West Devon trials. Yr7s Trey D (100m) and Max HC (Long Jump) have now been selected to join experienced Yr10 1500m county runner Isaac L as part of the W Devon squad. #athlete
