However, they don't want to be trapped in the past, meaning they use feedback as guidance without letting it limit their future direction

@eggsee_ @shu96hz i see. I have also noticed they took a lot of freedom from customizing the var ever since the steam release. i used to alter some configs to run wuwa on an R5 7600x with 120 fps (weird cpu to lock fps kuro) but it stopped working so i had to do it via .db file

@wrench1815 @shu96hz Oh those cvar are locked now. Ever since 3.1, before that you can freely change the texture & mesh pool. Example: pic 3 is after the auto deletion happened when you start the game using custom config with locked cvar.

@eggsee_ @shu96hz this was a very insightful read. and i expcted kuro to already implemented these. based on the info about texture pool, it seems they do use virtual textures but its pool size is extremely low (400mb is measly compared to 1gb or 2 thats usually set)

@yousucklikenut @shu96hz Just because it runs fine for you, doesn't mean it will for everyone. It works for you? Great, but optimization shouldn't be a luck-based. It should be for all. If there is proper optimization, we wouldn't be having this conversation in the first place.

@eggsee_ @shu96hz Wtf why blame people like me who has no issue on optimization lol. I wouldn't bark on any sns to tell the world my mid pc is run fine on certain game while the beef pc is running shit. It's makes zero sense the bulcky pc with 4080 running on 20fps. Hopes your issue fix soon 👍
