A prayer that will COST you NOTHING but GIVE you EVERYTHING LORD JESUS CHRIST, I believe without a doubt in my heart that you died on the cross because of my sins and paid my full debt with your precious blood, and God Almighty raised you from the dead to ensure my justification, I confess with my mouth this very moment and beyond that you "JESUS CHRIST" is my LORD and SAVIOUR. JESUS, I open the door of my heart, I receive and welcome you into my heart, fill me with your presence and present me to yourself holy. Thank you, JESUS, for your word that says, "For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto Salvation." On this TRUTH of your death, burial, and resurrection, I stand and declare that I am saved. Thank you, JESUS, for I stand alone on your finished works for Salvation.

You wake up every day to headlines that feel heavier than the last violence, inflation, kidnapping, Banditry, terrorism. The kind of news that no longer shocks you, just quietly drains you. And that might be the scariest part, we’re getting used to it. The cost of living keeps rising, but the value of life feels like it’s falling. People are working harder than ever, yet surviving feels like a full-time job. Dreams are no longer chased, they’re being postponed, adjusted, or abandoned. There’s a quiet grief in the air. Not loud, not dramatic, just a steady sadness. You see it in the tired eyes of commuters, in the jokes people make to hide frustration, in the increasing number of “I’m just managing” responses. And still, somehow, Nigerians keep going. We laugh. We hustle. We adapt. 
But resilience shouldn’t be mistaken for comfort. A country shouldn’t just survive. It should live. Good morning, my people. What’s the headline today?

I don’t live the life I planned for myself. Had goals. Clear ones. Timelines. Vision. 
But somehow, life happened, and now it feels like I’m just trying to keep up instead of getting ahead. It’s not laziness. It’s not lack of effort.
Sometimes, the environment just fights you harder than your plans can survive. So yeah, I’m striving. Adjusting. Figuring it out, one day at a time. Not where I want to be, but still grateful I’m not where I used to be. We thank God.

Why

Nigeria is a reflection of the people in it. Someone shot his shot at Victor Osimhen for a jersey and even tagged a vendor. Osimhen saw it and said he’d personally send one. 
Then told the vendor to add 15 more jerseys for others. -That’s where it got interesting.- Immediately money entered, the story changed. The vendor suddenly said Osimhen told him to share it himself. 
He claimed he had already picked 15 people. —Then it got worse—
He called the same person who brought him the business a scam. From there, he tried to “negotiate”:
7 for the guy, 8 for himself. Greed, plain and simple. The guy refused and asked for all 15 jerseys as instructed. —Next thing— 
The vendor switched again.
Said the post was “stolen” and brought another person to justify it. —Now here’s the real problem— Instead of people calling out the wrong,
they started defending it. “Make una settle.”
“Na just jersey.”
“Let it go.” - Someone even offered to pay extra, 
rewarding bad behavior. And that’s when it becomes clear: We are not different from the people we complain about in power. —This is how it starts— 
small compromise, small dishonesty, small defense of wrong. Nigeria didn’t just become this way overnight. 
We built it, little by little, with everyday actions like this. Truth is, many people are only “good” because they’ve not had the opportunity to do worse. One day, we will have an honest conversation about the double standards on this TL. One day.
