Today, EHCON kicked off the Green House Gas Emissions initiative at the Head of Service Complex, Tuesday, 24th February, 2026. The initiative is implemented under the air quality program to address growing public health crisis.

The Senate Committee chaired by Sentor Ajagunla O. Fadeyi and deputized by Senator Ned Nwoke also hosted the Perm. Sec. Of Environment, Mr Mahmud Kambari, Heads of Agencies under the Ministry and other top ranking officials.

The Honorable Minister of Environment, Hon. Balarabe Abbas Lawal, defended the budget of the Federal Ministry of Environment and agencies under its purview today to the Senate Committee on Environment @ National Assembly Complex, Abuja.
