What Labour is doing is reminiscent of the terrible energy policies I saw growing up in Nigeria. ❌Stupid taxes 🧾Endless bureaucracy and government interference 🏭❌ No refining capability ⛽⚠️...and now Labour are warning about rationing and fuel shortages. The UK can do better than Labour's energy insanity. The @Conservatives Cheap Power Plan explains how we can do this. It’s time to drill in the North Sea and scrap green taxes that are killing investment and driving up bills.

@TheBeninBlogger At the end of the day. Now we know this, why have we and our leaders not done better?? Are we the only colonised country? Okay, why have we not been reasonable enough to split up?

"Nigeria is not failing. Nigeria is functioning exactly the way it was designed to. We pride ourselves in our resilience, but in all honesty, this is a low vibration state of existence. It places people in a permanent state of survival mode." - Nigerian youth says

A biker riding on the streets of Lagos was hit from behind by a car, causing him to fall. The driver attempted to flee, but the rider quickly got back on his bike and chased after him. When he finally caught up, the driver denied hitting him, until the biker showed him video evidence of the incident, captured on his Meta glasses🙆🤦

One thing I’ve noticed during sensitization is that the political apathy in Nigeria is at a level that should frighten all of us. People don’t know their local government chairman. People have never attended a council meeting. People are completely switched off from the government that is literally closest to their lives. And I get it to an extent when a system has failed you repeatedly you stop paying attention to it but that disconnection is exactly what they want bc a population that doesn’t know who their LGA chairman is cannot hold him accountable for the money he is stealing. We have work to do.
