@ForumTL @hea_irl Great to see a national consultation on teaching and learning in HE. Student success is supported by many parties (academic staff, maths support centres, access & lifelong learning, administrators, tutors, student advisors etc)-hopefully many parties participate to reflect this!

The Open University Learning Analytics Dataset (OULAD) available from Kuzilek et al. <doi:10.1038/sdata.2017.171> is a fantastic resource for teaching and research. My new 'ouladFormat' R package (cran.r-project.org/web/packages/o…) loads, cleans and formats the OULAD for data analysis. 1/2

Enjoyed attending Student Affairs Ireland Summer Seminar #SAI2024 My main take aways are that 1) be clear what you mean when you say student success & 2) a successful orientation for a student is not likely receiving information about college but rather making new friend(s)
