How it feels to open the MS you love and start revisions after getting amazing and super helpful feedback from your agent.

Every day I am soooo thankful that I found my writing people and the vibes in our GC is immaculate every single day like never any fighting or jealousy or tension or dragging other authors we just hang out and chat and do whatever we can to support each other. I'm blessed 😌✨️

@ehsleeta I just wrapped up my third person close perspective series and am getting back into drafting a first person romcom and I’m soooo excited! I always feel like there’s way more voice in the first person POVs 🥰

Third person is tried and true and always good, but man, there really is *nothing* more fun than writing in voicey first person. First person doesn't work for just any book, but I'm telling you when it works, it WORKSSSSS

@Exile_Dev I definitely think it doesn't work for all books, but when it fits and is done well, I 100% agree.

Everyone is so cooked because what do you mean I'm DMing my agent sib on the 📷 app, and it's asking me if I want AI to summarize the messages she sent me. Who uses AI to read casual messages instead of using their own brains?? Who uses AI to message their friends??? Say sike rn

Idk what kind of weird psychological warfare it is that whenever I feel bad about writing, the foolproof way to make myself feel better is to write. Like....huh???? How does that work????

Just realized the publishing industry has changed me from someone who jumped at every chance they could to talk about writing and being an author into someone who shrugs and goes, "Eh, it's not interesting" before moving on to the next topic as quickly as possible.

I'll stop talking about wedding stuff soon, but I got our pictures back, and I'm so obsessed.

The number of times I was asked about my books by family members at my wedding, and the only answer I ever gave was, "They're fine, I guess 🤷🏼‍♀️"
