As an MP he has never been in power until Friday so he could not have done anything to get them here

A decision by former Scottish first minister Humza Yousaf to give all prison inmates free mobile phones when he was justice minister cost the taxpayer £6m before it was scrapped.
A Scottish Prison Service report said prisoners used illicit Sim cards to bypass restrictions and rack up more than 8,000 security breaches — including drug deals and the fire-bombing of family homes.
Another report reveals there was significant bullying of vulnerable prisoners into handing over their mobiles to other convicts.
