If this is your first time stanning a Kpop group, remember this is not the norm. People were friendly, you just need to be in the right sub fandom. The norm is to like the group, to have one or two favorites but never having animosity toward a member. That’s how people enjoy being a stan And you’re free to like whoever you like. You don’t stan members just because of their nationality. It is a kpop idol group, not ppop. Every members has their own charms and go where you want to be. Just, again, don’t hate a member. I hope you won’t get discouraged. Treat it like a hobby, enjoy being a fan. Doesn’t matter if you can’t support financially, just don’t add to the toxicity because we want our idol and his fans to be happy and healthy.
