I yearn to draw and create but it has been squandered due to the insane mental toll it takes to be an unqualified (and kinda unreluctant) caretaker. ;;
But I do miss the online space a lot as well. I miss my friends and cool people and I hope you all have been doing great! 🩷🩷

I even got spit in the face by my grandma when bathing her, so now I'm cursed with five generations behind me haha.
So yea nah, no positive hopes for me. Every time I do, there's always something that gets worse and worse.

Small update from me; after this post.. my grandma fell down the stairs, broke her hips and is now bedridden.
My mom, my big sis and me are all taking turns being full on caretakers for her. With dementia, things get harder..

Small vent. But things will look up. I never stopped hoping for a small escape and a place to call my own to be myself. That small escape being financially good enough to rent a room or a house.
No expectations. No obligations. No religious manipulation or guilt trips.

And I hope the current environment with the rising of secular reinterpretations will stop children from being instilled with severe religious fear and graphic descriptions in the name of "keeping children in line and stopping them from sinning."
But this is not for me anymore.

Everything I do growing up is an endless amount of micromanagement. Even the smallest thing is never overlooked. Everything is considered.
It is very suffocating and I do not wish it on anyone, adult or child. I heavily envy Muslims that grew up in secular countries.

I was exposed to a graphic grave torture video when I was a child during mass assembly. I saw it once and it really traumatised me badly as a kid. Then, when they showed that video again, years later when we're still children—I shut my eyes closed and tried to cover my ears.

Exposing children to any religion before they've acquired enough critical thinking skills to question and challenge what they're being taught is, indoctrination, non consensual, and depending on what you believe - abusive.
