We fund open source development of atomic swaps with bounties on Github. All of them are paid in XMR. Just submit a patch and if it gets merged, you get the bounty. We have a high bar as for the quality of patches but everyone is welcome and we are happy to provide guidance!

@kayabaNerve Are there any alternatives besides sketchy swap services? When there will a be a DeX, Wagyu could lose relevance, but now it's better than anything else

Hyperliquid is literally a closed-source blockchain which fundamentally isn't decentralized accordingly lol Promoting a currently centralized bridge to a centralized ecosystem (single point of failure re: development) as the future, because the bridge may multisig, is absurd.

Most CEXs have been treating Monero users as guilty-until-proven-innocent for years. Touch XMR and your withdrawal gets frozen, your account flagged - all in the name of "compliance" - which is often more compliance theatre🙃 Mad respect to the holdouts like Kraken who have done their best to push back, but they've even had to pull support for Monero in some jurisdictions. Here's my view. Centralised exchanges were never going to play nice for the sake of it. They're beholden to regulators who treat financial privacy as inherently criminal. None of this should surprise anyone. A solution that I'm advising, and that many of you know has me excited about its potential, is Wagyu (by @PerpetualCow). The whole schtick there is to have Monero tradeable on @HyperliquidX - which means no freeze risk. I know that Hyperliquid is largely a venue for traders, but for ordinary users that means they can deposit ETH, BTC, SOL, USDC, or USDT, swap for XMR, and withdraw that straight to their own wallet. If you were around Monero in its earliest days, before any exchange added it we used a thread on BitcoinTalk for OTC trades, and then someone setup a dedicated exchange (if memory serves it was bmrexchangeto or something like that?) - dedicated exchanges have always had an edge that general exchanges can never have, and Wagyu+Hyperliquid is no different. It's already the biggest exchange for XMR by a wide margin - both as an XMR-only exchange, and it's creeping up on Kucoin in terms of volume. If you actually use Monero (ie. not as a speculative vehicle), this is the easiest on-ramp we've had in a very long time. I’m ecstatic about the work we’re doing to make it more robust, and more decentralised! app.wagyu.xyz

Just bought some Monero on wagyu.xyz to add to my stack. Stop feeding extractive instant exchanges. Swap where XMR gets fair execution. • Best swap rates compared to major CEX's • Swap any chain ↔ $XMR • No KYC or AML freeze risk

People's private information presented on a silver platter. More than 100,000 murders. Just because politicians couldn't resist the urge to force surveillance upon the people. Beware the beginnings. mullvad.net/en/and-then/uk

Since the 1850s Amsterdam had an advanced and up to date population register - including name, date of birth, profession and religion of every single resident. By 1945 the nazis used this perfect information to murder 75% of Amsterdam's jews.

The anti surveillance campaign by @mullvadnet is being censored in the UK. I would call it ironic if it wasn't so sad. This goes to show that politicians either don't know or don't care what they are doing.

Most @monero @MoneroTalk infra tweets are about privacy and fungibility. Almost none are about the boring parts, like how painful it is to actually run monero-wallet-rpc in production Built a Docker image to fix this: - 104 MB, ARM64 support - No manual compilation - Works on NAS or cloud Why it matters: atomic swaps and payment processors don't fail because of cryptography, they fail because running wallet infrastructure is a pain. If it's hard to run monero-wallet-rpc, fewer people build XMR bridges, and privacy tech loses Built this for the XMR↔@Starknet atomic swap stack I'm working on, but it works for any service that needs wallet RPC without the ops headache docker pull espejelomar/monero-wallet-rpc:latest
