@mara_rot I don’t really understand the “blocking everyone who slightly disagrees with me” policy but I’m lucky enough to have oomfs who, although they have different opinions, are also very perceptive and make a lot of great points & don’t attack me over our disagreements.

@HeienYang I don’t feel exactly the same as you about Wonweek, but I saw Planarcadia as a chance for Sunday to have more agency and act more competently and independently. In 4.0 he sounded like himself back in Penacony, it was amazing And now I’m sooo scared of them fucking it up

Stuff that’s “cool for his character” isn’t something that happens in a vacuum. They gave us one line and even that one line was CLEARLY comparing Sunday and Fulwish. There was also 2.6, 3.4 and Cerydra’s words in 3.5 - all hoyo crippling Sunday’s ideas

Sunday wasn’t 100% right but hoyo failed to prove him wrong so badly that they keep having to pretend that he actually had completely different, more straightforwardly evil views. They’ve been doing this forever and it wasn’t even funny in 3.5, much less now.

moreover, “not feeling pain” doesn’t tackle any problem of society and the world, it will merely numb people’s ability to identify the problem and fighting back. unlike furwish, sunday would never be that shallow.

@HeienYang Sunday never said that feeling pain was a flaw, he said that the society is built in the way that makes people suffer and denies them the chance to change their lives. Pain and suffering are also not the same thing but hoyoverse is so not ready for this conversation.

It’s so annoying that I only started playing for Sunday, but during the last year grew to love many other wonderful characters and now I have to pick between four… They aren’t even new characters they were all present during the last anniversary too. Two of them are from AE.
