@NiallHarbison I’ve always had a soft spot for Mr Derek, he’s so gentle and his little face is adorable. It’s so lovely to seen him living his best life - keep going Derek, you’re an inspiration to us all 💕
The best thing about being sober is that you keep your word. Just like most alcoholics I used to lie to others and myself constantly. Anything to get the next drink. 🍺 🍷 🍹
When Giuseppe was dying last month I wanted to build a little memorial garden for him. His favorite thing in his last 3 months was to smell the flowers. So to have a garden built around the stones where he is buried would be fitting. We can cremate and scatter the ashes of any future dogs in Giuseppe’s little memorial garden with him at the center and fondly remembered. 💐 🌺 🌸
Now that I’m sober I could organize to keep my promise. In the old days I’d have talked a lot, made big promises but the ultimately the garden wouldn’t have happened. The drink would have been more important.
It’s just some little plants and grass for a street dog I only knew for 3 months but for me it means the world. It’s a really nice feeling being able to keep your promises to yourself and others when addiction free 🥰🙏
Dreams by Irish band The Cranberries from their debut album Everybody Else Is Doing It, So Why Can't We? first released this day 30 years ago in March 1993
I wouldn’t mind but I gave him a little kiss on the head good night. Told him he’d need a very good boy today. 8 MINUTES later he’s down with his mate P Diddy begging at the restaurant and 7-11 with that big innocent face of his. There’ll be words had in the morning 😂
Exhausted tonight so I walked all the dogs a lot. Fed them. Treats. Clean bedding etc and got into bed at 8.45 to listen to a podcast. Jumbo up on the coach nodding off but he must have been pretending as my friend just sent me this…
@racheldubber I’ve always loved ‘…sure where would you be going!’ Used in so many instances but I’ve never been able to explain it properly to any non-Irish!
Sister is looking for Irish sayings for a project, like, 'not a child in the house washed'. Things Irish people say on a daily basis. 'Many hands make light work' what ones do you use? #irishsayings
A cold, bright, clear day at the Cliffs of Moher yesterday. O'Brien's Tower looking down on the big seastack with the Aran islands and the Connemara mountains across Galway bay in the background. County Clare, Ireland.
With all the more serious things being looked at he got his collar on and his nails clipped. He’s had a lot of stress and new things to take in and they don’t always live the nails being done but he was a dream little patient
Lovely Giuseppe is starting to get pampered. He likes sitting out in the sun listening to the sounds and smelling the jungle while his VIP suite gets cleaned. He is in the OAP corner beside his new friend Derek 🥰🥰🥰
They are traveling a huge distance but it’s a dream come true as they will live on a farm with a lady who has 15 other dogs. I only had one lead for them out of all the sharing I did but it came off. Beyond excited for them 🥰
An absolute miracle I found the Kardashian puppies a forever home. They have to travel 900km by 🚌 and ⛴️ and weren’t too happy about their 5am start. Made sure to enjoy the sunrise with them before departure.
Open ocean swell rolling in from the West and Eastely breezes, sweeping down from the land, meet to form rows of white horses thundering shorewards with their manes trailing after them. Cliffs of Moher, County Clare, Ireland.
This Beagle was 12 hours from death and covered in cancerous tumours.
3 Months later and McMuffin is a therapy dog who helps other abused and sick dogs while also teaching puppies how to dog...
What a way to start the day. The comeback kids...
Whacker literally bouncing around with happiness 🥰
Derek eating everything and his fur growing back ✅
McMuffin cancer free and looking gorgeous 🙏
