im a muslim and i studied the arabic language for 7 years and let me tell you guys one thing, the video y’all are spreading, the nasheed isn’t very audible until someone points it out 😭 like listening to it myself, i genuinely couldn’t hear what was being said until someone played the original right after it and then i was like oh… yeah this is not it 😭 it IS disrespectful but realistically, non-arabic speakers would not understand it unless someone explained it to them first. the issue is that he played a song without knowing the meaning behind it or doing a background check. yeah, most people don’t usually do that, but if you’re playing something in front of a huge audience, you should know what’s being said but let’s not jump to saying he hates islam or use this as an excuse to spread hate towards him cause it’s obvious it was unintentional. hold him accountable, yes, and as muslims we absolutely have the right to feel offended and expect an apology
