My most valuable lesson I learned in the first month of my $5000 > $1 million challenge is… Discipline and set bracket orders doubled my money in 23 days. Emotion and market orders undid it ALL in 2 days. Back to square one on Monday and back to the original rules.

@ejGentles @1MINUTETIP Try this: 1 trade, 1 pair and 1 setup for a day. Any result win or lose just lock in, continue again tomorrow.

Turn off the porn and lock your risk settings daily before you trade. Stop buying recycled ICT courses at 2grand a pop just because you see them driving a rented lambo. Take your base hits daily and focus on building consistency. Try it for 90 days and you will get your payouts.

Yea it’s still my biggest struggle as well that’s why day trading is so hard because if you take multiple trades in a day you open yourself up to possibly going on tilt and blowing up. So the less we can trade the less chance of that happening and the less size the better. That’s why I try to size for the chance of 5 losses in a row to decide max loss per trade. So if I take 5 losses of around $100 each I’ll still be ok emotionally with -500 and could walk away but I can usually take 3-4 losses max and still be able to come back from that drawdown without issue. Now if I was risking 200 per trade that’d be much tougher with my current account sizes. So just depends your style and how many losses in a row you can handle I think 5 is a safe number to choose to decide that cuz shouldn’t have 5 losses in a row that’s rare.

$69K in Payouts so far in 2025 (if bottom 3 get approved). You can see how quickly things have changed for me since August when I committed to slowing things down - no more full porting evals, buying less at a time and trading them like they're funded accts until passed. Shortcuts delay success! Don't try to rush the process. Once I started doing things the right way every day and focused on good habits I've been able to grow from 3 funded accounts up to 26 now. Posting this to show what's possible for others since I've struggled for 5+ YEARS. I want others to know that things can change very quickly for you if you've been having a tough time. Keep focusing on reviewing and getting a little better every day and eventually things will click. Keep believing in yourself and have a vision. If anyone has any q's happy to help. I'm not anyone special or a great trader, but I never gave up. You've got this!
