@anirudhganu @TCS This shameless HR Head allegedly said to the complaints that "Corporates में ऐसा थोड़ा बहुत तो चलता है". Disgusting.
English

This is Sudeep Kunnumal, the incompetent "Chief Human Resources Officer" at @TCS , under whose watch the Employment Jihad flourished unchecked at their Nashik Campus. If he has any shame left, he should resign.

Shilpa Shetty’s ₹12.54 Crore Gift from Husband: Why Tax Officers Are Digging Deep (Even Family Gifts Need Proof!)
Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty received a massive ₹12.54 crore gift from her husband Raj Kundra in 2020. She declared it as a loving gift from her spouse – which is normally tax-free.
But the Income Tax officer wasn’t convinced. Raj Kundra had shown only ₹27.71 lakh income that year. The officer asked simple but important questions:
•Where did the money actually come from?
•Show the bank statements of both husband and wife.
•Prove the money trail clearly.
A gift deed and PAN were given, but no clear bank transfer proof or full source of funds. The officer added the entire ₹12.54 crore to Shilpa’s income as “unexplained money”.
Now, the Income Tax Appellate Tribunal (ITAT) has sent the case back for a fresh check. They said: Gift from spouse is okay, but for such a huge amount, you must show proper documents – especially bank statements and source of funds.
Important Lesson (Even my CA father taught me this in 2005!): Income Tax officers can (and will) ask for bank statements and source of funds – even for gifts from husband to wife or gift within blood relation. A simple gift deed is not enough when the amount is big. Always keep clear money trail records!
This case is a big reminder: Even celebrities can’t escape basic tax rules.
What’s your take?

@gemsofbabus_ I have stopped voting for @BJP4India and never voted and won’t vote for @INCIndia in future.
But I seriously think that BJP has done zero to improve infrastructure of cities and even the infrastructure, cleanliness is worse now.
Do any of you thing the same ?? 🤔🤔🤔🤔

@hvgoenka My experience of #DelhiMetro was just the reverse. Crowded trains & filthy unkept stations full of dust with poorly lit common areas. Let's see how long #MumbaiMetro maintains it's standard!
English

Yesterday, for the first time, I travelled on the Mumbai Metro. I must confess, I was pleasantly surprised. The station was spotless. The train arrived exactly on time. It was efficient, organized, and remarkably uncrowded. And bumping into my office colleagues was a special bonus.
Having been in Paris, London and New York metros, this experience was definitely the best.
But this made me think. If we can build and maintain world-class metro systems, why can’t we demand the same standards for our roads?
