Happy New Year!! 2025 was a tremendous year financially for me (and hopefully for all of you), with a record personal portfolio gain (in dollars), on top of a record year in 2024. Unfortunately, the year ended sadly, with the death of my mother just before Xmas (nearly 93 years old, after living a long and rich life). Funeral occurred yesterday. Not looking for sympathy - just patience from my HTS subscriber base. Now in its 39th year of publication, the letter is typically released in the first week of every month and the Jan. 2026 letter will be too. ETA for the Jan. HTS publication release (email) early next week (likely Monday).

@htsfhickey Yes, Biden's actions on Russian assets were a triggering event, and gold started its ascent after the dot com bust, accelerating after the 2008 financial crisis and supported by increased central bank purchases aligned with the rollout of Basel III, (gold now equivalent to cash).

Happy Thanksgiving! First and foremost, I'm thankful for my family and good health. Secondarily, I'm thankful that I've had the best antidote (precious metals) to protect me from the poisons (out of control government spending, soaring deficits & debts and rampant monetary debasement) that currently plague us all.

@htsfhickey Nice to see one of our gold stocks that was appropriately beaten down beginning a few years ago prior to a change in management is now up 100% in the last 12 months...and better, its best days seem to be ahead...

It's a take-no-prisoners type of stock mkt. When tech companies guide slightly lower as Adobe did(ADBE -14%) or in a more major way as Jabil (-16.4% this A.M.), the stocks get clobbered. Means stocks are overpriced & mkt. may not be as strong as some think finance.yahoo.com/m/d8b8f78a-6e3…
