A lot of low probability trades can be filtered out by timing your expansions; WHERE or WHEN should price reverse? WHERE - a key level if we fail to deliver from a key level, it becomes a question of: WHEN - New 4/6 hour open, and if the profile/wick permits it, a new 90 minute/hourly open. This is why a lot of the time distributions often happen at 10:30/12 if we failed to expand during the equities open despite engaging a key level; it's waiting for a new higher timeframe candle open.

This is the exact reason your universal sequences keep failing, you're entering before a higher timeframe gap and higher timeframe opening, which means you're fighting the structure instead of working with it. Use this as the blueprint, wait for the HTF opening, align with it, and position yourself within the highest timeframe gap. Lock that in and the sequences start working in your favor.

Anticipate new HTF phases of price above / below equilibrium of an implied dealing range. Anticipate new HTF phases of price at relevant intermediate terms swings to your draw on liquidity. If you’re anticipating a new HTF phase of price, align a HTF swing from a HTF Gap. (H1 gaps for h4 expansion candles) If you are trading near the reversal you can get away with lower time frame gaps (m15 gaps for h1 expansion candles)

your job is not to catch every move your job is to catch the ones that fit your system most of you are trying to trade every expansion, because you think missing a move = skill issue it’s not price can expand for hundreds of pips, if your setup doesn’t show up, there’s no trade trying to catch everything is exactly why you overtrade you lower standards, rationalize entries, and take “close enough” trades because the pain of missing a move is bigger than the desire to stick to your plan that’s why your results are inconsistent your system should be a filter my entire approach is built on a logical 4-step funnel you go from trading conditions (how likely is expansion?) to bias (where is the market most likely heading?) to narrative (how is the market going to deliver?) to finally the entry (which mechanical entry model?) each layer acts as a filter that needs to be passed to head to the next one one high quality trade pays for all the patience it took to wait

@ekiu1098 Oh so in London session? If Asia expands I wouldn’t really trust a London expansion

@ekiu1098 Look for this signatures away from a true reversal, into a fair value gap. That is retracement.

Most of you would benefit from a very thorough understanding of the fundamentals before you consider any elements of advanced filtering: 1. Cracks in correlation 2. Quarterly theory 3. Advanced Premium Discount 4. Asset Synchronization These are secondary to: 1. Universal models 2. Phase of price 3. Profiling (protraction) 4. Reversal signatures 5. Driver pairing Take a look at my summit mentorship syllabus…. There’s a reason I emphasize the fundamentals with my students, and why they have so much success in these markets.

Phase of Price is always the first filter. Reversals always form from a key Level [Univ.Model] 1. Fair Value Gap 2. Old High or Low Reversals have characteristic signatures: 1. V-Shape 2. Gaps Created 3. Shallow retracement away from point of reversal Losses can be avoided by employing these filters.

Low Probability SMT Signatures | 3 Confluences Utilize these three signatures to fade SMT formations in a correlated market triad. These types of SMT formations are likely to break, meaning you can trade the lagging asset[s] into the same level via redistribution. Confluence 1: Failure Swing SMT Confluence 2: Leading Asset Fail to Manipulate/Reverse Confluence 3: Non-Relevant Swing / No Key Level -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- In order to trade away from these low probability SMT formations, I require very specific framework -Strength Switching.
