@mluffy_op @GlobalIJournal You are talking shit, it's not the same thing! Ukraine gave up the 3rd nuclear arsenal in the world in exchange for security guarantees from the US and ᵣuZZia, so these are completely different things, ᵣuZZia attacked in violation of the guarantees it itself gave to Ukraine!

@DarkFootstep @krassenstein The biggest sponsor of terror is the USA. Every capable country should arm themselves with nukes to have peace from bullies.
English

Idiotic war?? True or False: Iran is the largest state sponsor of terror in the world? True or False: Iran had overenriched 460kg of uranium to 60%? Iran kept pushing their weapons program? True or False, Brian? Only leftist idiots can look at the facts and hate Trump for setting Iran back four decades and pushing for a regime change for 90 million people. You just haven't seen any benefits from it, so you can't understand...because that's how libs think.

@varinder_bansal Paradise on earth, especially now. Long story short.
English

I’m currently in Dubai, and here’s what I’m seeing on the ground.
I flew from Mumbai via Emirates, and to my surprise, the flight was completely full. Some people argue that this could be due to fewer flights operating, but the reality is clear—people are still traveling to Dubai. It’s far from empty, contrary to what many social media narratives suggest.
The contrast becomes visible after landing. The city definitely feels lighter—traffic is down significantly, and tourist presence is visibly lower. I would estimate traffic levels to be down by ~50%.
Over the past two days, I’ve been out extensively—malls, restaurants, and meeting friends. Life, quite simply, is normal. We’ve been stepping out late in the evenings, and there is no visible fear among residents. People are going about their routines without hesitation.
I visited Mall of the Emirates on Saturday evening, and it was bustling. Not overcrowded like peak tourist season, but certainly not a “ghost town” as often portrayed. Shops were active, some restaurants were full, and people were out enjoying themselves. Yes, expensive brands had less number of shoppers. But, daily coffee shops, Carrefour, Spinney's were super active. Yes, there are fewer people, and shorter wait times—but nothing close to the panic narrative circulating online.
Areas closer to the airport, like Mirdif, have experienced more disruption. Residents there reported frequent drone sightings in the initial days, which understandably caused concern. However, even that seems to have normalized over time. In other areas—Downtown Dubai, Sheikh Zayed Road—the impact appears minimal. Occasional sirens or alerts do come through on phones as precautionary measures, but normalcy resumes within minutes.
I also checked in on the real estate situation. At the higher end—villas above AED 20 million—there are signs of correction, roughly in the 10–20% range. But, deals are not getting closed in this segment as well. However, the mid-market segment (AED 2–5 million) remains relatively stable. Buyers are cautious, but sellers are equally unwilling to cut prices aggressively. It’s a classic wait-and-watch phase. So if someone claims Dubai real estate has crashed 50–60%, I’d say—take that deal immediately.
General belief is that tourism will take time to recover, and those dependent on commissions—especially in sectors like real estate—will feel the pressure. Construction activity has almost come to a stand still. Smaller firms with stretched balance sheets and high leverage may struggle. In contrast, larger players with strong financial positions are likely to consolidate further and emerge stronger.
Yes, Dubai feels different today—less crowded, less chaotic, and quieter due to fewer tourists. But it is far from being a ghost town. The city is functioning, people are working, and daily life continues.
The overall sentiment is simple: cautious, but calm. No panic. Just a collective hope that the situation stabilizes soon.

@shanaka86 The Strait is closed, you need more clarification?

BREAKING: Thailand is not at war with Iran. Thailand did not participate in Operation Epic Fury. Thailand did not vote for strikes. Thailand did not host bases. Thailand is a Southeast Asian kingdom of 72 million people whose principal relationship with the Strait of Hormuz is that its ships pass through it carrying cargo.
Today the IRGC struck one of those ships.
The “Mayuree Naree”, a Thai-flagged bulk carrier, 178 metres long, 30,193 deadweight tonnes, built 2008, IMO 9323649, was hit by an unknown projectile 11 nautical miles north of Oman while attempting to transit the Strait of Hormuz.
The projectile ignited a fire in the vessel. Twenty crew members were rescued by Omani naval forces. Three are missing.
Three Thai sailors are missing in a war their country has no part in, on a ship that was trying to do what 138 ships per day used to do without incident: cross a 33-kilometre waterway carrying cargo from one side of the world to the other.
The weapon that struck the Mayuree Naree has not been identified. The signature is consistent with IRGC coastal-launched projectiles, kamikaze drones, or fast-boat missile attacks that have characterised every strike in the Strait since 28 February. No claim of responsibility has been issued. The Mosaic Doctrine does not claim. Any of the 31 autonomous provincial commands with coastal access could have launched the attack without authorisation from Tehran, without consulting other commands, and without the knowledge of a Supreme Leader who has not spoken, not appeared, and exists at his own rally as a cardboard cutout.
The fire was extinguished after several hours. A skeleton crew reportedly remains aboard. The vessel is damaged but has not sunk. No environmental spill has been reported. But the damage to the vessel is not the damage that matters. The damage that matters is to every shipowner on Earth who just watched a neutral country’s bulk carrier get hit for the crime of attempting to transit.
The US Navy has three carrier strike groups in the region. The USS Abraham Lincoln in the Arabian Sea. The USS Gerald R. Ford in the Red Sea. The USS George H.W. Bush en route. Combined firepower exceeding the military capacity of most nations. Reuters reported the Navy has refused near-daily escort requests from the shipping industry since 28 February because the risk is too high. The Mayuree Naree transited without escort. It transited without war-risk insurance, which seven P&I clubs cancelled effective 5 March. It transited because someone calculated that the cargo was worth the risk. The calculation was wrong.
The ship’s insurer, if it had one, will not pay for a vessel that entered a war zone after coverage was voided. The owner faces a total loss on a 17-year-old bulk carrier that is now damaged, crewless, and anchored in waters where mines have been confirmed and 31 autonomous commands continue firing. Salvage would require a tug to enter the same corridor that just struck the vessel it would be rescuing. The insurance that would cover the tug does not exist either.
Iran did not strike Thailand. Iran struck a ship. The Mosaic Doctrine does not distinguish between flags. It distinguishes between presence and absence. Any vessel in the Strait is a target. Any vessel outside is safe. The doctrine’s enforcement is binary: you are in the corridor or you are not. Nationality, cargo, neutrality, and intent are irrelevant. The 31 commands that fired on the Mayuree Naree do not know it is Thai. They know it is there.
Three sailors are missing. The ship is burning. And the Strait that was supposed to be “very complete” just attacked a country that was never in the war.
Full analysis below.

Independent means cross-verified evidence from commercial satellite imagery (Planet Labs/Maxar), open-source analysts, and outlets like Reuters, Bloomberg, or NYT—not solely IRGC statements or US/Israeli military claims.
The Jordan AN/TPY-2 destruction (early March strikes) was confirmed that way via imagery + US officials. Today's IRGC claim of 4 more lacks that yet.
English

The context: In the ongoing US-Israel vs Iran war (escalated since late Feb 2026 with strikes on both sides), cirnosad is referring to Iran's IRGC claim today of destroying 4 AN/TPY-2 radars tied to US THAAD missile defense systems. These were allegedly reinforcements moved to previously hit sites in UAE (Al-Ruways), Saudi (Al-Kharj), Jordan (Al-Azraq), and one unknown spot.
Credible reports (CNN/Bloomberg satellite imagery + US officials, Mar 5-7) confirm 1 radar fully destroyed early on at Jordan's Muwaffaq Salti base (~$300M value, impairs THAAD tracking). Hits reported on UAE/Saudi sites too, but full radar losses unverified there. No independent confirmation yet on today's claimed "4 new" ones—cirnosad notes verifying locations. US has ~8 THAAD batteries total globally.

🚨MUST READ!!! ISRAELI JOURNALIST GIVES FULL ACCOUNT ON WAR! THIS IS WHY OUR GOVT IS CENSORING US:
Israeli journalist, Alon Mizrahi:
"We are witnessing history. Iran is, to the surprise of everyone, fucking up US bases so thoroughly and extensively and so decisively that the world isn’t ready to see it."
"In 4 days, Iran has managed to expand its scope of military domination in the region. Iran has destroyed the most precious, most expensive military bases, assets and equipment in the whole world. American bases in Bahrain and Kuwait and Qatar and Saudi Arabia are some of the biggest military installations in the entire world. These are assets that took trillions to build over the course of several decades. We’re talking a major chunk of military expenditure for over 30 years, going up in smoke.
We are seeing radars costing hundreds of millions of dollars a piece being destroyed in an instant. We are seeing entire military bases being abandoned and burned, decimated and destroyed. And I’m telling you from my knowledge, the US has never suffered such devastation in its entire history, except maybe Pearl Harbor but that was one attack.
No enemy in a normal war has done to the US military what the Iranians are doing to the US military right now. This defies belief. The military situation is so bad that censorship blocks practically every piece of new information about this war. If you’ve noticed we’re being exposed to less and less every day.
Thirty-five years ago during the first Iraq war, we were being shown endless footage from Iraq. The smart bombs and the cameras were a novelty back then, but every night we were being shown night footage. Now we are seeing almost no video.
Understand this! This is supposedly the worlds biggest military power having the worlds biggest air capabilities and for 4 days when the US is on the offensive, supposedly and is supposed to be breaking through Iranian defenses we are seeing NO signs of American domination over Iranian skies. Where is all the footage of our planes flying over Tehran or any part of Iran for that matter?
American soldiers can not even dream of setting foot in Iran. And to understand how desperate this war is, that on the 4th day you’re already hearing the craziest suggestions and ideas from the Trump administration. They are suggesting to send military escorts for oil carrying vessels coming out of the Persian gulf. What are you even talking about?! You want to send American ships into the range of thousands of Iranian missiles? NO ONE can pass through the strait of Hormuz right now.
The Iranians have been preparing for this for decades. They’re flaunting this idea of arming Kurdish militias to invade Iran. What the FUCK are you talking about? Have you seen a map of Iran?! It seems like the Trump administration has never seen a map of Iran! Do you know how massive it is? What do you mean invade Iran?! You think a 10,000 man militia can invade Iran?! Or even 50,000?! Or 100,000?! Iran will swallow them.
The US and Israel have already lost this war. The US and Israel can kill millions of civilians in their homes. They have huge bombs and can explode buildings, but they will not win this war. Iranians military infrastructure and weaponry is so far underground ALL OVER IRAN. There is no way for the Americans and definitely not the Israelis to reach any of it. They are FUCKED.
They have started something they have no chance of bringing to an end. When this is over the US will never come back to West Asia. There will be no American presence in the Middle East. I’m telling you this now with certainty.”

@Got_TheVapors @FreeTrevian Which is true? Truth is somewhere in the middle. All participants are having a rough time. They are covering that with censorship, propaganda...

@GeromanAT A looming storage crunch in the Gulf could trigger an unprecedented oil supply shock with global repercussions.
English

This is, literally, the most important countdown in the world.
Oil exporters in the Persian Gulf, currently unable to export their hydrocarbon bounty, are all facing a dire short-term outlook.
Unable to store additional oil in strategic reserves and state-owned or privately-owned facilities, they will soon be forced to halt production at some of the largest oil fields on earth.
This will have disruptive consequences for following these countries:
🇮🇶Iraq
🇰🇼Kuwait
🇦🇪UAE
🇶🇦Qatar
🇸🇦Saudi Arabia
When these producers fill their storage tanks to capacity, there will be no other possibility but to curtail production.
Depending on the geology of the field and the specific technologies implemented, shutting in wells could even permanently damage reservoirs and production infrastructure.
At that point, in addition to the supply disruption at Hormuz, markets will face the prospect of a medium to long-term reduction in oil supply from the Middle East.
This would bake a massive risk premium into oil prices—and particularly regional crude grades—for months, or potentially longer, depending on the course of the war.
Historically, storage tanks are rarely utilised above the 80% threshold; therefore, filling them to absolute maximum capacity may not be technically feasible, and the real countdown may be even shorter than anticipated
Two further considerations must be mentioned.
When storage space will run out, some countries such as Saudi Arabia and UAE may still have the ability to divert some energy flows to alternative routes, continuing exports. However, this presents a strategic opportunity for Iran-aligned forces to deliver a tremendous blow to these regional U.S. partners by striking that specific infrastructure.
When regional oil producers will be faced with the risk of a total production halt, their sovereign survival—and not just the one of the Iranian regime—will be at stake.
At that point, an expansion of the war becomes inevitable as Riyhad and Baghdad (the first and second OPEC producers) suffer catastrophic daily economic damage.
Where and with whom they will fight—well this is another story entirely.

@nikstankovic_ @lycan2046 Probably they do something similar around Kaliningrad and who knows where and what. So far they probably calculate it's better to not shoot them down at the moment.
English

@lycan2046 They could just fly up there with a few drones and blind them
English

Still don't understand why Russia just doesn't shoot one of these down along with its crew. In fact and then another one. Yes in international airspace. What exactly is UK and NATO going to do? What? Kick Russia out of SWIFT? Sanction it? Arm Ukraine to the teeth? Call Article V and attack Russia? With what? Nukes?

@motosrbija @vggsblokada Naravno, vlasništvo, geometar, projekat i da li objekat narušava urbanistički plan. Plati evo dozvola.
