@VinceDaoTV Well, what would Iran like to achieve? Get rid of the US for good, I guess. And the best way of doing that is turning Iran into Irak.

Iran is just making another dumb strategic blunder here.
Their best move right now is to play dead, allow Trump to declare victory, and move on.
Instead, they choose to antagonize more. They tried mines, we blew up the mines. Now they don’t think there will be a military response to this either? Fools.
But it’s not just about us. You think the Gulf States are cool with their oil money being messed with? Absolutely not, Iran is provoking them again — despite admitting it was a mistake the first time around.
Qatar said today that they refuse to help Iran with diplomacy while they’re getting attacked, for instance. All those countries feel this way.
And what about Europe? Will our skittish NATO Allies finally unite when their oil, much more than ours, is getting messed with?
And let’s discuss China. Sure, Iran can sneak Chinese tankers out for now, but they’re inviting mutually assured destruction here. You don’t think we can also stop their tankers? And you think China is cool with your unnecessary actions hurting their oil supply any further?
It’s actually strong proof that Iran are not rational actors just defending themselves. They’re clueless warmongers who are inciting unnecessary problems in the region — as they have for decades. Everything they’re doing right now actually just vindicates the neocon propaganda about these guys. Truly.

Scientists have for the first time "uploaded" a fly's brain into a computer — the digital copy of the insect began behaving like a living one
Researchers created a model of a fruit fly brain with over 139,000 neurons and 50 million synapses.
After connecting it to a virtual body, the system began independently generating various types of behavior, even though it was not trained to do so.

Europe is watching the United States under Trump with a kind of stunned disbelief. People keep saying the same thing, quietly at first, then out loud: there is no way back after this.
For years, Europeans joked that much of Latin America was a museum of failed strongmen, fragile institutions, and permanent drama. Now the joke has turned colder. Today, they say, Latin America is welcoming a new member: the United States under Donald Trump.
Travel tells the mood better than any speech. Flights from Europe to the US are half empty. People cancel long planned trips. Some even scrap World Cup tickets, as if they cannot bring themselves to celebrate in a country that feels unrecognizable. “We are disappointed,” one Parisian says. “I always loved America, honestly. But it is over now. If I were American, I would be embarrassed. And I have to add, we know ordinary Americans are good people. They do not want this. This is a cultish faction, obsessed with Trump, repeating lines instead of thinking.”
Then they start naming names. Someone brings up the Texas senator who let Trump humiliate his wife and still kept smiling, still kept crawling back. Ted Cruz. The Parisian laughs, sharp and cruel: “She definitely has a lover now. No man survives that.”
In London, the sympathy shifts north. “Poor Canada,” a man says, almost gently. “They are stuck as the only sensible country on the continent now. With that idiot neighbor to the south, of course they are desperate.”

@PeterSchiff Yes. That's actually simple math. A bubble can only expand as long av r<g. As noted by Jean Tirole already in 1985.
