@jeff_gluck Jeff, any insight into why the brass at nascar are so against going back to Road America? If I remember correctly they hosted well over 100k at their cup races last time in addition to some pretty stellar tv ratings. Just wondering what is holding them back?

Chicago street race back?

But the studio is exceptional – the monitors that we have and the different camera angles actually let us see more than we can see at the track. The racetrack is nice to look out the window at pit stops because you can see all of pit road. However, you can’t look out the window and call the race.“

Jamie McMurray thought he was going to be Ricky Rudd. Not as a driver. McMurray was already nearing the end of his NASCAR career when he began to feel confident he would do the same thing Rudd did - run his last race, walk out of the track, and for the most part, disappear.
