Sorry but your logic crumbles a bit here. Either the people tasked with doing due diligence failed or illegals are voting. I own a small business with about 40 people working for me and I run background checks on ALL of them. Further, they are required to complete and I-9 with proof of citizenship. For a 175k a year superintendent position they didn't do these things? By design or incompetence...?

@BrokeDad360 Honestly that’s a simplistic take. It assumes there is no waste in any of it. Property taxes don’t just go to those things. It also gets handed out to special interest groups, funds bloated pensions, and provides a constant pay raise for bureaucrats to spend unrealized gains.

Property taxes pay for the things people expect to work every day: schools, police, firefighters, roads, snow plows, parks, libraries, water systems, sewers, and emergency services. If you don’t want to pay property taxes, which of those are you willing to give up?

I spent two hours yesterday at Delaney Hall in Newark where 700 detainees are being held by ICE. What I saw and heard was horrific: worm-infested food, no access to medical care, no way to connect with their families. Many of the detainees were lawful visa holders, including one 18-year-old who is missing her graduation and prom because she is being held in a cell. This is not America. This is unacceptable, and it has to stop now.

Your words about psychological instability are spot on. I never cut contact with people who's views are diametrically opposite my own because there are always other ways. On X you can mute them. on Meta you can snooze them or hide their posts. My anecdotal experience is the people who cut ties seem to always be on the left and hardcore. When people have "defriended me" it is usually after I have posted a rebuttal with receipts on why their post wasn't factual.

I would bet it is surprisingly low. That's actually what bothers me. DNC is losing support at record pace but only because the current Right ripped up the carpet and tore down the drywall to expose the infestation of corruption that's survived every coat of paint for decades. Actually, net migration is down because the people who were entering illegally have been stopped dead in their tracks and various cartels are being kicked out. In fact, if you look at all the people who have left for political reasons, they often are either declined when they arrive in other nations and get sent back to the states or they arrive and discover that the place they moved to is far worse than they expected and often have to return due to economic hardships they didn't face in the US. And the reason you don't know any of this is because you hear your friends talking about how horrible it is here and how they all want to go but none of them do. So since all the people you know haven't tried to leave yet, your world view hasn't been challenged. And as someone who is aggressively apolitical due to such a wide variety of reasons that even having a blue check mark wouldn't give me the space for, people like you force my hand to clear up your misdirection as you are poorly educated and a low information voter.
