Tekken 8 lacks a pre-shader compilation feature, which can cause performance issues on even the most high-end PCs. If you have recently installed the game or updated your GPU drivers, you will likely experience stuttering and frame drops until the shaders are fully cached. To mitigate this, it is highly recommended to visit the 'Replay' menu and watch 'Exciting Replays' before playing. This allows your system to load various character models, stages, and visual effects in the background. This is also why playing Tekken 8 at Korean PC cafes (PC Bangs) can be consistently problematic. Because their systems typically reset upon reboot, the shader cache is wiped every time, forcing players to deal with "first-time install" stutters during every session. To ensure the smoothest possible experience, simply let the replays run overnight before you go to sleep. This will allow your PC to build a comprehensive shader cache, so you can jump straight into ranked matches without any technical interruptions. Please understand if there are any awkward expressions, as I used a translator to share this information.
