Genuinely if stuff were labeled as "Made without AI" it would spark people's interest immediately. AI slop fatigue is real, people want human made things.

Unfortunate that op chose to use the word ‘pre-slop’ in an effort to coin some new buzzword, because he was merely pointing out that we have been doing the “The computer is the new psychedelic drug” thing for decades, which is somewhat interesting

I remain fascinated by the "Pre-Slop" genre, stuff that dated AI by years, even decades, but foresaw where all "content" was ultimately going. Peter Gabriel dropped this in 1992! Prescient AF.

Finding a film on tv meant that you could have missed some parts, which would give it more mystery, you’d use your mind more to try to put things together and figure it out, it could make things more special and interesting

Was looking into buying a dickies Eisenhower jacket and found out they’re making it out of 60% polyester. Seriously? Can’t even make a canvas jacket? Everything is made out of cheapest materials today all of the “durable” brands have moved to the cheapest materials they can

I’ve noticed this with every type of coupon and discount there is, none of them are worthwhile. Even ones for like a dollar off a sandwich make you buy 2 or 3 of them for it to be eligible, like why even waste the time putting this bullshit out there

Really tired of companies offering a discount and then being like “but not for this or this or this” like dude it’s like 5 dollars… wouldn’t you rather just give the discount and earn the customer’s appreciation for like the rest of their life?
