The info you shared is accurate. Beyond initial review, rarely do we see forced content removal. It’s maybe a dozen flagged content items per year amidst thousands of videos. We onboard several sites a week with multiple processors. The average turnaround time for review and approval with CCBill as an example, is less than 24 hours. The complexity of billing isn’t about the difficulty to obtain processing, it’s about the different risk tolerance is that exist for each processor based on its banking relationships, as well as how closely each one follows Visa/MC guidelines and their own attorney’s recommends.

Visa told me to take down a video with money on it once. I did, then two weeks later I posted it up again. They never said anything ever again. It all depends on who from visa or Mastercard is reviewing your site. They usually review it once a year.

@glennkingxxx They already do and have been, and the next gen consumer also knows they can Google what they like and if it’s repetitive or on multiple platforms (especially collabs posted by both owners of the scene) they’ll buy it or sub wherever they find it the cheapest.

I think what’s gonna happen (and is happening) is that it’s gonna be difficult for creators to maintain profitability while making cookie cutter content. If you are a creator who uses the same set every time with no creativity, consumers will look around and see what else is out there that’s more interesting . If you are a creator, think about using different sets, different wardrobe, dialogue , positions , roleplay, etc. This applies to solo creators too. Sitting on the same couch every time with the camera on a tripod in the same place and then not moving around much during the clip can seem boring to your customers, so think about ways to make it more interesting! Making content that looks the same every time is probably not gonna cut it anymore. (This was not aimed at the original poster Jay’s POV. I’m speaking in general to a valid point he brought up)

This is key for content creators to understand. If a platform does not have traffic, it’s of no use to you. Even if they give you 100% of sales, if there’s nobody going there to buy things, then it’s not gonna be worth the effort for you. Platforms like clips4sale spend a lot of money on traffic generation. They spend some of the money they get from you to get new customers to the site for you.
