I strongly condemn the military action Russia has taken in Ukraine. The attack is a grave breach of international law and threatens the life of numerous civilians. Finland expresses its solid support to Ukraine and Ukrainians and we are looking for ways to increase this support.

I strongly condemn the military measures Russia has started in Ukraine. Russia's acts target Ukraine, but at the same time they are an attack on the entire European security order. We feel deep compassion towards Ukraine and are seeking ways to increase our support to Ukraine.

Finnish gov @valtioneuvosto plans to cut science budget by 35M€ from 2023 on, adding to severe cuts from past yrs. Untolerable. Science minister @AnnikaSaarikko in gov led by @MarinSanna. Scandinavian, global friends of Finnish science, all words & impact more than useful.

@ChemistCraig @MaulideLab I didn't care about chemistry that much before my HS teacher. She was enthusiastic, always open for discussions and put plenty of effort in adding experiments and visits into her courses. I had very different future plans but I ended up applying for chem and have not regretted.
