Check out our review paper about extending the reach of CRC screening to all US populations, published in @AGA_TIGE in 2024! National CRC screening rate was only 59% in 2021, and even lower in underprivileged populations. Increasing screening to all US populations is a complex challenge that requires multicomponent interventions to target deficiencies at each level - the patient, clinician, system, and policies. That feeling when you finally publish a cherished research project that you invested so much into! 📝 This one was a special one bc it taught me how to lead a project from start to finish and was my first first-author pub on a longitudinal, larger GI-related project (not a case report or series). So grateful for my med school research mentor Dr. Grider and the @vtcsom team!
