Denver thoughts and observations - Institutions are here and it's not the worst thing - Nobody cares about the alt L1s and new chains - Many media, services, data co ramping up enterprise side - Many teams focusing on hiring in US and in particular NYC - non trivial segment of ppl are getting sick of Vitalik - I think Hyperliquid, Solana, have sapped significant people out of EVM - Tourists, shillers gone, nobody talks about meme coins or NFTs - Many builders (including myself) jaded and saying "DeFi will die unless __" - More ppl focusing on app UX, abstraction, plugging all the final gaps to be competitive in web2 to compete for net new users - Crypto Twitter is becoming less relevant, it's LinkedIn for institutions, TikTok/UGC/- Content Automation for consumer, AI Engine Optimization for all - Everyone's talking about automation, agents, Claude - Some old heads miss the optimism of DeFi summer - Most people have zero idea what is happening next in the market but mentally preparing for worse

UPDATE: I’ve moved on from my role as Head of Marketing at @movement_xyz.
My mission was clear: to scale the most performant, secure, and developer-friendly ecosystem in crypto. Driving the Move language, the Movement community & ecosystem, and the vision a chain for the people.
The time was a trial by fire. We were rocked by impossible challenges that forced us to rebuild brand, trust, with the market, community and ecosystem from almost zero. It was a moment where most teams would have folded. We doubled down on transparency, work ethic, and becoming “The Peoples’ Chain.”
A few highlights of what happened since then:
The APAC Tour: 12 cities, generating 1.5M impressions and hosting 1,000+ attendees on a budget smaller than most teams spend on a single side event.
Movement Global Hubs: We doubled down on community and ecosystem to build the global distribution layer for Movement, with more than 9 cities live.
Onboarding real humans in 5 minutes to Movement: Working with @stableyardfi to create Movement cards that onboarded users in 5 minutes. 1,000+ real people joined the ecosystem live at 2 events.
Global presence: From Korea Blockchain Week (with national TV coverage and the Movement Bus around Seoul) to Token 2049, Eth CC, and SmartCon, and more than 40 regional community events, we championed the Move language on every major stage - and the ecosystem teams.
Campaigns, Launches, L1: Working tirelessly with the team to ship a renewed brand message, ecosystem campaigns and a global hackathon, ultimately paving the way for the Movement L1 launch.
This journey wouldn’t have been possible without the people that made this possible.

@torabyou: you are a more than capable CEO for Move Industries, and I have full confidence in your leadership as you take the ecosystem forward.

My time at Movement was invaluable. What has been pulling me next is a growing calling to return to the frontlines of defi, app building and acquisition. I want to be hyper-focused on getting products into the hands of people directly.
I’m moving forward with nothing but respect for the Movement team, ecosystem and community. This experience was one of a kind, and it has sharpened my thesis for what comes next. I will always root for & support Movement ecosystem and the @MoveIndustries team.
I’ll be sharing more on that thesis and my next steps very soon.
