In February, I started a coaching course called The Great Audiobook Adventure, led by @eliseacts and Justin from The Tree Cave Studio. This week, I finished the course! It feels so good knowing I kept going when life was intense. And WOW, what a course. Over the last eight months, thanks to what I learned, I upleveled every part of my narration efforts: performance, home studio technology, and business. I'm now on the rosters of multiple audiobook publishers, including some big ones. I've had auditions for a couple of those publishers and am building relationships with lots of producers/casting directors. I still LOVE working with indie clients, but I'm so excited to have this whole world of traditional audiobook publishing opening up to me too. Moving forward, I'm really leaning into the CREATIVE side of my creative efforts. What feeds my soul creatively? Leaning into achievement & the business side of things comes naturally to me, but it can be soul-crushing. So I'm purposefully shifting my focus more to the creative, to ensure that even when I'm building a business, I'm doing it in a way that feels satisfying.
