@mportillo7673@tom_karnes@doctor2pi Hi! I think the workshop idea is great for both students and parents. With this idea, parents will have the confidence to help their students and look over the quality of work. #CSUBTEd#csubedte4200
@tom_karnes A3) I know during the bulk of COVID-19 schools offered loaner Chromebooks and hotspots to those who did not have those resources. Another way to make tech accessible is to offer workshops on how go use these technologies. #CSUBTED#EDTE4200@doctor2pi

A4. A great resource of information is other teachers with experience! Chances are if they have been teaching for over 10 years they have seen it all and can provide great insight to systems that may or may not work.
@Ststansberry A3) I think Google doc can help because of the translation's capabilities. When they have a hard time putting it in English they can type in Spanish. It also has a microphone to help them to practice speaking. #EDTE4200#CSUBTED@doctor2pi

@doctor2pi A1) Technology is a great way to communicate with parents about their students. A common tech applications I’ve seen used in elementary schools is class dojo. It’s easy for teachers to use and for students and parents to keep track and communicate. #EDTE4200#CSUBTED
@AndreaGTeaches@doctor2pi Hi Andrea, that is a great idea. I think I will adopt this idea as well. A FAQ page would also be super helpful for parents and students alike.
@doctor2pi A1) I would like to utilize Google Sites for my future classroom for parents and students to access with announcements and schedule. I think of creating a google form for parents to fill out for anything that I need to be aware of or any questions. #EDTE4200#CSUBTED@doctor2pi

A1. Teachers and parents can utilize technology to ensure live communication. Students perform better in school when parents are aware of the expectations and assignments. There are platforms such as Remind that allow instant communication.
