Is there really a demand for Web3 TCGs? or are we just seeing a repeat of 2022, where NFT projects launched sub-collections as a quick way to raise capital without a clear product or long-term direction? I like the idea of expanding into the TCG market. It makes sense on paper. Although I'm struggling to understand how NFT brands will be able to compete on traditional IPs. Some questions worth thinking through that I couldnt get out of my mind though: > Who is the actual target user here, Web3 natives or traditional TCG players? Because the way NFT projects market it right now, I feel like it's way too limited or constricted on the web3 market. > What problem does a Web3 layer solve that existing TCGs don't? Or are we just trying to operate like traditional IP/brands here. > Are the buyers or demand really focused for them to play, or just to farm and flip assets? (It's important what kind of consumers we are attracting as it will be crucial for growth and marketing. You guys have seen already how downbad nft mfers try to ruin a brand just because they werent able to flip for a profit) > What does retention look like after the initial presale or launch hype? I honestly have more questions because atm, I could hardly see the viability and feasibility of the business model much more on a fad-driven market like TCGs. --- This is not a FUD or whatsoever. I've been a long term supporter of the brands attached. If anything, I'm honestly eager to learn more about the business decisions behind the pursuit.

we r taking the @AzukiTCG competitive scene very cereally, meaning lit tournaments with sick prize cards (like the top 8 shao we made b4) we'll make a more official post once all the details r locked in. the prizing will consist of the $100k we previously committed + prize cards + sealed products. but tentative competitive roadmap plan is: - a number of regionals this year with an invitational tournament and nationals next year. the first regionals will be with @CoreTCG later this year - season end rewards for winning-est and more active players (u can find the leaderboard is in app) will be done after nationals next year. basically we want to reward ppl who play a lot
