So today, school security pulled me out mid-lesson to say there was a ‘situation’ in the hallway… I was expecting chaos. Turns out, it was my mom surprising me—then she looked at my students and said, "Please be good to my baby!"

Bilingualism is more than knowing more words or speaking two #languages. It’s the ability to think in new ways, connect and interact with a greater variety of cultures, and even navigate the world through a broader spectrum. It never ceases to amaze me how our #bilingual students and their families contribute to our communities.
