ok~ if they want to take down illegal sites i don't care, but will they finally learn to invest in good translators for english manhwa readers~? one of the major reasons people lean to fan tls are because the official translators are poorly done after all~

Desde que ignoro lo que hace Norma con el danmei he sido más feliz, planeaba hacer una revisión de las novelas de Meatbun completas, pero tomando en cuenta el costo de los ebooks y el tiempo que me tomaba era un desperdicio. De todas maneras arruinadas ya están y nada va a cambiar eso. Si consigo los ebooks pirateados pues igual le hecho una mirada.

@kahmooii @p9cker_girl Jinjiang doesn’t have translations to English, it’s mostly Chinese, I just buy stuff from there and buy the translations from Amazon. Which danmei are you reading? MXTX and Meatbun are friendly authors.

@kahmooii @p9cker_girl They are not lovely ppl, they are racist. I don’t know which country you’re from, but seeing the wide majority of authors being xenophobic is never going to achieve their goal. I read both manhua and danmei, for manhua I use bilibili, for danmei Jinjiang.

@kahmooii @p9cker_girl japan approached piracy in a better way, they created a system that allows people to read no matter what their possibilities are, korea needs to learn a thing or two, they went mainstream too fast and they lack basic knowledge about marketing

@kahmooii @p9cker_girl show me every author that is not racist and I will go buy right now all of their works, but I haven’t even seen one, the chinese authors are way nicer even with all the censorship, I’ve bought every single work I’ve read from them, but you won’t catch me buying KR works

@ellescontrol @p9cker_girl I’m not the one crying over piracy. I’m advocating that creators deserve to have their work paid for, regardless of how I personally feel about piracy. There’s a big difference between.

@ellescontrol @p9cker_girl That’s just not true lol. Many of us buy raw comics in Korean and Japanese if they’re brand new without other languages available yet. And most series do eventually become licensed for other languages. You just have to be patient or use MTL on the raws. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Or you could just to the right thing and support the creators for their blood sweat and tears they shed to make you the series you enjoy so much. It doesn't take much to buy a series so they can continue to make great stories in the future. It probably takes less effort to support them than to whine and cry over lost sites and write a long ass novel about all the sites getting taken down.
