I dislike the process more than I dislike the hire.
The hire is uninspired, but the process was exponentially worse.
Again, Mike McCarthy IS a good coach.
I just hope that he puts together a winning infrastructure for the Steelers and does a great job.

Mike McCarthy worked as a graduate assistant at Pitt in late 1980s when he worked the overnight shift collecting tolls on the Pennsylvania Turnpike. His father, Joe, was a Pittsburgh firefighter, and owned a bar that Mike cleaned on Sundays before church.
