SCOOP: Elliot Berke, the Kennedy Center’s top lawyer, last fall tried to book his own rock cover band the DePlorables to play at the center’s jazz-themed Speakeasy, 3 sources told me. The request was rejected in part due to conflicts of interest concerns. politico.com/news/2026/04/1…
