You saw that background yesterday at the funeral of the father of Cabinet Secretary Davis Chirchir (he was 93 years) and really believed in education. That facility is not a private school ,no! its not a cambridge one. It is a public primary school, remodelled and uplifted by CS Chirchir in giving back to the community. It is Kipketii Primary School. That is how impact should look. Works in silence- he calls it quiet spirit/ strength🙏 ////Caren Kiki///

MP ICHUNGWA EXPOSED: POWER WITHOUT PEOPLE, AUTHORITY WITHOUT LEGITIMACY Last night I reflected deeply on Kimani Ichungwah and his disgraceful conduct. A man who yesterday, flooded timelines with minute by minute updates, proudly mocking how police were brutalising his own people with teargas and live bullets. Let that sink in. This was not leadership. This was a celebration of oppression. And let me be clear, credit where it is due, NTV told the truth. If you have not seen what really happened, go watch their coverage on YouTube. Not entering Kikuyu Town was not fear. It was strategy. We had intelligence that Ichungwah’s rogue police had planned to seal off exits, trap people, unleash teargas, and leave Rigathi Gachagua and his team exposed to coordinated chaos. By addressing the people on the highway in Kikuyu town, we outsmarted that scheme. We protected lives. That is leadership. Now to Ichungwah himself. A man who started Form 1 at Nyandarua High School but, through political connections tied to KANU and Daniel arap Moi, found his way into Alliance High School. That is why he constantly reminds people where he studied. Not as inspiration, but as a tool of arrogance. A way to mock those who cannot access such privilege, including the very people of his own constituency, which ironically hosts the school. But that is not the point. The point is this: a man raised on privilege cannot understand struggle. He does not feel the pain of the people because he holds them in contempt. Yesterday stripped him bare. Remove the police. Remove state protection. Remove intimidation. Remove Kasongo. What remains? Nothing. Ichungwah is politically naked. No people. No ground. No legitimacy. He stands with power. We stand with wananchi. So let us ask the real question: If he used every means to block the people’s Deputy President, Rigathi Gachagua, and myself from speaking to his own people, why should we ever allow him to speak to us? The people of Kiambu County and the entire mountain must now decide. Peacefully. Lawfully. Firmly. Reject him. Refuse to be addressed by him. That is your right. That is your power. Because the question wananchi are now asking is simple and unstoppable: If you cannot allow us to listen to leaders we want, why should we listen to you, Ichungwah, a leader we do not want? And this question will be answered, loudly and consistently, by the people. Every day. Everywhere. To every Ichungwah. To the people of Kikuyu, thank you for your courage, your love, and your unwavering support. #WeShallReturn

“If you knew me, and you really knew yourself, you would not have killed me” – Quote on a stone wall at the Genocide Memorial in Kigali. It is located in the Children’s Room, a space dedicated to the youngest victims of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi and one of the most haunting parts of the memorial. The Genocide is officially recognised as beginning on April 7, 1994. From tomorrow Rwanda will begin the 32nd commemoration (Kwibuka) of the Genocide.

The state of a country's environment is a direct reflection of the state of its governance. You cannot have a healthy democracy and a decimated forest.

You couldn’t get that amazing fundraise. You couldn’t hire the dream team. You couldn’t compete with companies that had 10x your resources. Now? Now you can build what they have. Not a perfect version—but a version. And a version beats nothing every single time.

Giving credit where it is due. The Ziidi Trader is a game changer, and true wealth democratization by enabling local retail investors to participate in the capital market. Another MShwari moment. Safaricom's overall economic risk and dominance is becoming big.
