@sangxa The real test. Can we break down a well organized team that will let us have the ball. He has the tools, lets see him deliver.

@TheMiddleStump @a_thomas1958 so which one of the two openers picked ahead of him are quota players...one is also a wicket batsman.
English

@a_thomas1958 Huge surprise. The bloke is class. I know SA have a quota system with regards to selection but you would think a man of his quality would make the cut

🚨 SQUAD ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨
The South African Men’s selection panel has announced the 15-player squad for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, to be held in India and Sri Lanka from 07 February - 08 March.
T20 International (T20I) captain Aiden Markram will lead the side, which includes maiden T20 World Cup call ups for Corbin Bosch, Dewald Brevis, Tony de Zorzi, Donovan Ferreira, George Linde, Kwena Maphaka, and Jason Smith.
Kagiso Rabada returns to the T20I setup after missing the recent white-ball tour against India due to a rib injury.
South Africa are drawn in Group D alongside Afghanistan, Canada, New Zealand and the United Arab Emirates, and will begin their campaign on 09 February against Canada in Ahmedabad.

@UtdForever7 @ManUtd @premierleague The turning point point came with the arrival of CR7. I remember the opening match where Bruno got 4 goals and Pogba 4 assists...United were on fire and then CR7 happened

🚨If there was any manager after Sir Alex Ferguson who truly loved this club, it was Ole Gunnar Solskjær. He had a deep admiration for Manchester United’s heritage and brought a genuine sense of warmth and connection back to Old Trafford.
He cared about his squad and he had a strong eye for identifying top young talent early... he pushed for the signings of Erling Haaland and Jude Bellingham when they were still teenagers. But we all know how the Glazers and the previous sporting structure handled his recommendations.
▪️Finished 3rd in his first full season
▪️Finished 2nd in his second season
▪️Set the longest away unbeaten run in Premier League history
▪️Oversaw a record-breaking 124-goal season
▪️Became the first manager to beat Pep Guardiola three times in one season
My issue with him was that he tried too hard to please everyone... discipline wasn’t always enforced and “player power” grew under his watch.
But we can’t deny that under his leadership, Manchester United played some of their best football since Sir Alex Ferguson retired.

As I said...Conte is delusional if he thinks those two will play in the EPL like they do in SerieA

@FabrizioRomano Can't take a league serious where still KDB leaves midfielder in his wake like he used to 10 years ago...they are good for Serie A
