There is no single MRI machine in Ilorin. None. Not in the government owned hospitals and not in the private hospitals. I just found out yesterday. Any patient that needs to carry out the procedure would be directed to National Hospital or Lagos. How is this even possible? What about in cases of emergencies? What sort of system is this? In the entire Kwara state? How much does it cost to have one MRI that the government couldn’t do that?
