@HeavyButLite 3 light setups are my bread and butter in studio. They don’t always have to have the same look either. For me it’s all about the light placement and ratios to get a desired look.

Seeing more tweets saying “Free YSL” then I see “Free Brittney Griner” tweets. We need to get our priorities straight. #FreeBrittneyGriner

@TReader1956 @bigCROWNmusic Actually he first recorded a Chuck Berry song in 1956 ( same year as his first record) at Sun studios and covered “Brown Eyed Handsome Man” a single Berry already put out on Chess records. In 1968 he recorded a second Berry song.
English

@elseROCKone @bigCROWNmusic Elvis did not record a Berry song until 1964, 10 years after his first record.
English

@hop827 @bigCROWNmusic However I think we got away from the main point. Berry vs Elvis, who’s the king and why? Obviously we both appreciate good music and I appreciate you knowing your history but we disagree on certain parts of the subject and that’s fine so I’ll just leave it at that.
English

@hop827 @bigCROWNmusic That was 8/16/57. I’m not sure if this was the first case of this or not because I’ve heard so many similar things happened at other shows including a Chuck Berry show. Elvis probably had something like happen at one point in time also. That’s one of the great things about music.
English

@hop827 @bigCROWNmusic I agree that everyone was influencing each other and that musicians didn’t really care about who made the music, it was more about the actual craft, new sounds, and standing out. This is actually one of the best parts about music. However credit should be given when credit is due
English

@hop827 @bigCROWNmusic There can only be one king. I’m not saying Elvis didn’t do his thing or have a great career that obviously sparked influence in others but how can you be the king as a performer vs the performer, songwriter, and musician?
English

@hop827 @bigCROWNmusic No one said berry didn’t have influences but his genius lays in the way he the fused blues and country to create something new and broke barriers. Can’t say the same for Elvis. He was good at what he did and was always gonna be Elvis but he wasn’t the creator or the king.
English

@hop827 @bigCROWNmusic You can’t honestly say that the music was integrated in the 30’s when there is a clear history that it wasn’t and Berry was even denied gigs because of his skin color cause the club owners originally thought he was white.
English

@hop827 @bigCROWNmusic Wasn’t till 56 when heartbreak hotel came out and blew him up and the music sounded different.
English

@hop827 @bigCROWNmusic Berry was only 9 years older then Elvis, got married in 1948 and had 2 kids by 1952 but I fail to see how this proves your point. Elvis didn’t need to meet Berry to hear the sound. Elvis started recording in 53 and the first two songs he made sounded nothing like rock n roll.
English

@hop827 @bigCROWNmusic It’s no different then a present day upcoming artist doing shows on the road in order to earn their chance at a label and a bigger well known artist hearing it and making it theirs cause they already have the channels to release right away.
English

@hop827 @bigCROWNmusic It’s true Berry wasn’t in a studio till ‘55 however he was rocking stages in ‘52 when he took over St John’s Trio and turned it into The Chuck Berry Combo. That’s when he developed his unique sound. Once he got to Chicago in ‘55 he realized others were stealing that sound.
