@GarethJennings3 I think it's fine that AI is used to recover images that have been damaged or have simply deteriorated over time. But these kinds of grotesque images seem completely ordinary to me and a waste of resources.

Another example just from today - all very well putting 'digitally altered' in the credit, but the image is out there now and in a short time no one if going to know the markings were AI... aeroin.net/com-vendas-em-…

Ach, another AI colour scheme superimposed over an actual aircraft. A few years from now we won't know what was ever real, and what wasn't...🤷‍♂️
