Anyway love yall I'll come back around towards the evening to see if anyone DM'd me asking for my off twitter contact info. I hope yall have been having a great/restful weekend.

And I apologize for worrying anyone before I came back to talk about Opal. I have been doing pretty bad mentally and obviously the loss of my cat really didn't help, but I am trying really hard to shift my perspective on life. I'm going to keep trying.

I wanted to drop in and say if anyone who doesn't have my discord/whatsapp/number feel free to ask for any of it. I'd obviously love to keep in touch with my friends I really only have added on twitter. I just really don't want to be on here anymore.

Going back to being inactive, just wanted to give a heads up. I appreciate everyone's support during this past week from the bottom of my heart.

We put Opal down today.

Of course she looks like shit y'all are half assing treatment and even still her body is doing its best and y'all are still like hmmmmm. Why isn't she up doing backflips :(

They were just letting her sit there dehydrated and low on sodium and potassium as well like. I fucking hate this.

I'm getting very sick and tired of the back and forth with the prognosis between all the doctors checking on my cat.

So Opal ended up throwing up during her feeding last night, they did some tests and had to rehospitalize her due to her pancreas and gallbladder also seeming to be inflamed. They are going with a much more aggressive treatment involving steroids and antibiotics and fluids again.

they let me know that Opal has been handling increased quanitity feedings very well but she acts very dumpy and sad :( hopefully all she needs now is some time at home and more food

Going through baby pictures of Opal because I miss her deeply but also realizing how incredibly hot I was during that time

I need a hug so badly. I feel pathetic even needing one. Im just going all the time and it's all just so hard.

@oedipusssyyy She's adjusting. Still getting her strength back and figuring out how to be comfortable with the feeding tube but she is making progress.

Idk if she was even coherent enough this evening because of all the meds they gave her today but I hope me coming by every night and telling her how proud I am of her and how ready we all are for her to come home has been helping her. She didn't purr tonight which made me sad.

readjust her feeding tube because that seems to be bothering her. Other than that they seem happy with her progress.

Opal update: she is no longer considered "hospitalized" and instead is being medically boarded. They are no longer giving her injections and instead getting her in the routine I will have to do for her at home care. She had a little trouble breathing today but they are going to
