Hey @envwaterloo ! What are some ways we are dealing with environmental challenges?

According to NASA, the warming of our planet has produced outcomes such as rising sea levels, melting ice-caps and increases in extreme weather events.

Climate change involves the current warming of our planet, due to the rising CO2 levels in our atmosphere. This is as a result of human emissions, deforestation among other causes.

While most current parties support a Carbon Tax, the Conservative party does not. Does anyone know what their proposed climate plan was this past election?

Looking forward to the final stretch of the course! Lots of reflection will be taking place in the next 2 weeks, and I am excited to look back on the term to assess what I've learned!

According to the Pembina Institute, a carbon tax is one of the most effective solutions for reducing GHG emissions.

We as a society need to recognize the impacts climate change is having on our environment. There needs to be extreme measures put in place by all governments, regardless of economic impact.

EM203 has demonstrated how technology, the internet and digital platforms have brought new life to learning through many different learning theories. Constructivism relates personal experiences to new concepts to have a better grasp on the topic. #EM203Robin

So far in #EM203Robin I have learned about different learning theories one of which was constructivism. I have also learnt about many examples teachers could make use of with these learning theories through discussions my classmates and I have had.
