💔 Imagine 850,000 young people feeling lost, disconnected, and without a clear path forward. That's the reality for Canada's youth who are NEET (Not in Employment, Education, or Training).

Canada’s young people are not okay. Youth unemployment rates reached 14.5% this August— the highest level in over a decade. The number of unemployed young people who are not working, in school or training, has reached 850,000.

In Week 1, I created my own cartoon introducing myself and said something interesting about myself. In Week 2, I learned about learning theories and wrote a post about constructivism. In Week 3, I took on a challenge and performed a verse of a German song. #EM203Robin

@EM203BBambaci That multitasking statement is something I agree with, especially after the activity we did on week 3. When you have too many distractions at once, your brain can't retain most information.

Engaging and entertaining. While multitasking is prevalent, studies suggest that it may be detrimental to academic achievement. For learning to be effective, digital technologies and cognitive limitations must be balanced through the 4C's of critical thinking. #EM203Robin
