That might have been my favorite tribal council ever. #survivor is a reflection of society and women are more empowered than ever. HERE. FOR. IT.

@EM203mpang_oden I completely agree, I have mainly been regarding media as a form of distraction to students and learning, however, it's uses in teaching and learning can have benefits greater than those which ignore and restrict social media use.

EM203 has provoked me to see how Media can be used in Education. It isn't my preference in learning but I can see how you can create communities and also benefit from mixing learning styles together with online education. Discussion boards lately have been beneficial. #EM203Robin

@EM203ssilva I completely Agree! I think it is extremely important for teachers to take into consideration learning strategies to be able to get through to each student as necessary to improve the level of comprehension for students.

Week three of #EM203Robin and learning so much about different learning styles and theories. It is important that teachers are aware of these and are adapting to the needs of their classroom by using a variety of these methods.

@EM203TGuo Hey Teresa, I completely agree with your perspective! We should begin to consider how we can better make the internet a part of our learning as it is something that we already rely so heavily in other aspects of our lives.
English

So far in #EM203Robin, I have realized that we heavily rely on the internet. We learn so much by just simply googling something. There also many other ways to learn from the internet that we don't use as often, such as interactive activities and diagrams.

@DanielG26701402 I agree, considering the vast networks that we are constantly surrounded by which causes more distractions than we give credit for! In addition, learning theories can be extremely helpful in better identifying the best ways to learn!

In #EM203Robin I have learned that our attention is incredibly divided, today we did an experiment and I saw how many distractions exist. I also learned about the various learning theories, how they are applied, and that I am a constructivist learner.
English

@EM203_AlisonK I completely agree with this perspective and because of this I think it is important that our education system catches up to be able to better connect with students who don't know a world without social media.
English

In this course I learned the youths today are called "digital natives" since we are more connected to the internet and social media in our everyday life compared to our parents.
