The initial lessons in EM203 were centred on learners in the Digital Age. Learning has been impacted by the internet, and education must follow along with the innovations. Lesson 2 focussed on how we can apply and use various learning theories. #EM203Robin

@EM203LSchin @EM203_RUppal Definitely agree, that task really informed me of my multi-tasking abilities.

In my EM203 course, I learned that when we engage in two cognitive tasks at once, there will always be negative effects on at least one of the two tasks, even with the generation of digital natives! Looks like I’ll be multi-tasking a lot less. #EM203Robin

@EM203RElgalal I agree Ryan! I do not know where we would be if we did not have the technology we do today to communicate.

The first few weeks have been very interesting, learning about the different learning theories, the 3 M’s, and how the use of technology is really important in today’s society to communicate. Can’t wait for the rest of the semester! #EM203Robin

@EM203MLouie Hi Matthew, I think you raise an important piece of how we absorb a lot of our information today which is through social media. I feel as though social media can play a role in informing how group learning is done and how we are educated about it.

The first three weeks of EM203 have been very interesting. I have learned new theories such as constructivism and how it applies to group learning and education. I've also realized the strength of social media and how accessible information can be. #EM203Robin
