@EM203AMolenaar Hey Adrianna! I love your concept map. The are so many different factors that affect our education. I think the biggest problem to note is that we all learn and our educated in a different way. Yet school is designed as a one size fits all method.
@KesaQ43041 It's so great to hear that you're enjoying this course. I am as well. This course has been eye opening to see how if we just change our mindset a little we can actually enjoy all the assignments and readings that come with school.
My first 3 classes of EM202 have been better than I expected. I'm loving the interactions in the discussion posts and how the content is interesting as it makes doing things like assignments and readings much easier to do. #EM203Robin
@juls3377 That's so nice to hear that this course is helping you consume information faster. How did you find the multi-tasking activity? Were your results from list A and list B drastic too?
EM203 has been an interesting course thus far, and I have been enjoying it. I specifically really liked this weeks lesson about Multi-Media, Multi-Modal, and Multi-Tasking. The combination of these approaches to provide and consume information can help with learning. #EM203Robin
@its_fahey25 It's so cool how EM203 is changing the way we think and approach our studies. I have been able to study more effectively and understand concepts faster. Best of luck on your midterms!
The first three weeks of the fall term have come and gone, and midterms are looming, but on the bright side, EM203 has helped teach me that learning isn't just reading a textbook or answering homework questions but learning through interactions with those around us. #EM203Robin
@Lnjhh44818 Thats such a cool skill to learn. I learned to do a hard sudoku puzzle which was definitely outside my comfort zone. How do you learn most effectively?
Throughout the first three weeks of EM203 I’ve learned a lot of new things. For instance this week I learned a new skill which was tangoing. While learning this new skill I payed attention to my learning process and how I best and most effectively learned. #EM203Robin
@em203sroberts I definitely agree. I did not know there were so many learning methods. I learn best from a blend. Meaning, learning in class and at home.
In #EM203Robin, I have learned many things so far. My greatest takeaway was notably how many learning methods there are. I learned lots about learning by doing- the idea where students learn best by trying the concepts read about in class in real life.
EM203 was exciting. I was creating a comic strip. I learned about different learning theories and through that I learned about myself. I discovered the theory of how I best learn. I learned how important it is for me to study in an environment without distractions. #EM203Robin
